Basrah Journal of Veterinary Research (BasJVetRes) is the official scientific publication of the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Basrah, Iraq. Since 2005, the journal has served the global veterinary research community with over 20 volumes published to date.
BasJVetRes is a quarterly, peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles, review papers, and case reports in English across all disciplines of veterinary science and veterinary medicine.
The journal employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process, with each submission evaluated by at least two independent expert reviewers. All manuscripts are screened for originality using iThenticate plagiarism detection software to uphold the highest standards of academic integrity.
All published articles are immediately and freely accessible online under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY) licence, with no subscription or registration barriers.
