Basrah Journal of Veterinary Research is a self-financed open access journal, which is published in both online and print version. Article publication charges levied to authors is the only source of income that is utilized in maintaining the administrative and the print cost.
The manuscript is accepted after payment of the publication fee by the author(s). The publication cost of a regular research paper is 100$ for non-Iraqi authors and 100.000 ID for Iraqi authors, which payable to the Bas. J. Vet. Res., College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Basrah, Iraq.
The journal is open access, free to access, read and print. There is no pay per-print fee for the published articles. There are no editorial charges being solicited from authors. However, the journal charges a minimum amount towards author registration (on the accepted article, after peer review) for publishing and maintaining the content online, outsourcing facilities, tools, and resources towards the publication of the article.
